Made in Norway

SO LOCAL THAT IT'S ALMOST HOMEMADE

While the materials used have an international journey, the actual production of The Sail Bag is rooted locally in Norway, at Manufacture Oslo in Økern .

I have consciously chosen local production, despite the fact that it often entails higher costs, because it is a direct extension of my core values:

  • Quality and craftsmanship: Proximity to production provides full control over quality and the ability to ensure that each product is made with care and precision.
  • Ethical working conditions: I can guarantee fair wages and good working conditions for those who sew the products.
  • Reduced environmental footprint: Local production reduces the need for long transport routes, which in turn lowers the carbon emissions associated with Heim Studios' value chain.
  • Promoting Norwegian industry: I am proud to support and contribute to the growth of the Norwegian textile and fashion industry.
  • Flexibility and innovation: The collaboration with Manufacture Oslo, which also focuses on sustainable and circular products and is up-to-date on industry developments, gives me flexibility and access to new knowledge within design and production.

By choosing deadstock materials and local production in Norway, Heim Studios strives to create products you can wear with pride, knowing they are made with care for both people and the planet.
